Component ids and categories

How to read a component id, and the kind and category values used by Copy for Cursor and search_catalog.
Id
The id is the public slug. The component page and the live preview use the same string.
Catalog page: /components/sakura-editorial-poster
Preview URL inside the copy: /part/sakura-editorial-poster
id passed to get_component: sakura-editorial-poster
Ids have no spaces and no capitals. A string that is not in the catalog is not found.
Kind
Kind is printed on the copy. search_catalog's kind is one of these four.
