Install the dependencies

How to read the npm install block in a Copy for Cursor bundle, and what to do when install fails.

What you'll end with

Only the packages that section imports are installed.

Read the install block

Install NPM dependencies in the copy is the command to run.

A section with no extra packages says none are required beyond React, Tailwind, and cn from @/lib/utils. Do not run npm install in that case.

react, react-dom, and next are omitted because the app already has them.

When install fails

Read the imports in the copied TSX. A specifier that does not start with ./ or @/ is the package name, as in from "framer-motion".

An import that starts with @/ is not an npm package. It is a file included in the copy. If it is missing, the file at the path on the first line of that code fence was not written.

Install lucide-react only when the copied files import it. Do not replace SVGs in other files with lucide-react icons.
