Terms of Service
Last updated: September 27, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern use of DesignLayer (“the service”). By using the service you agree to them.
2. Definitions
- “User” means anyone who browses, copies from, or registers for the service.
- “Catalog” means the published motion React components and full-page Templates.
- “Copied code” means source and agent instructions obtained via Copy for Cursor or similar.
- “Plus” means the paid subscription for unlimited component copies (Template copies not included). “Pro” means the paid subscription for unlimited component copies and Template copies (Template copies are coming soon).
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. We are not liable for unauthorized use of your account except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
4. The service
DesignLayer provides live previews of motion React sections and Templates, and source you can paste into coding agents such as Cursor or Claude. Component preview is free. Copy for Cursor is free 3 times per Japan-calendar day. Unlimited component copies require Plus. Template copies require Pro (coming soon).
Designengine (one-page generation) is a future product. Joining the waitlist is not a paid plan. Legacy studio features may still exist for some accounts; they are not the public offering.
Copied code is a starting point. Integrating it, installing dependencies, swapping brand and copy, and reviewing before you ship are your responsibility. We do not warrant fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
5. Fees
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Plus is JPY 990 including tax (unlimited component copies; Template copies not included). Pro is JPY 2,980 including tax (unlimited component copies and Template copies). Template copies are still in preparation; we will announce on the site when they become available. The Pro price stays the same until then. We will announce changes on the site; existing subscriptions keep the price and entitlements they signed up at. The first period is charged at signup. The same amount is then billed automatically on each renewal date until you cancel. This is not pay-as-you-go. Upgrading from Plus to Pro takes effect immediately: the prorated difference for the rest of the current period is charged at that time, and the Pro price is billed from the next renewal. Stripe processes the payment method; the price, auto-renewal, and cancellation terms on this site and in these terms control.
Cancel anytime from your account (“Cancel subscription”). You can change the payment method from the account billing portal. After you cancel, your plan stays active through the current period and no further charges are made. Because this is digital content, we do not refund a period that was delivered normally. We handle genuine service failures case by case.
6. Intellectual property
The service, branding, and catalog remain ours or our licensors’. You may incorporate and modify copied code in your own projects under these terms. You may not redistribute the catalog as a competing library, resell the source, or scrape it at scale. You are responsible for not infringing third-party rights in your use of the code.
7. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Violate law or public order
- Infringe others’ rights, privacy, or reputation
- Disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, or impose unreasonable load
- Transfer, lend, or share your account
- Reverse engineer or scrape the service in an abusive way
- Otherwise use the service in a way we reasonably consider harmful
8. Disclaimer and liability
Except for our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for interruption, data loss, or damages arising from copied code or use of the service. If we are liable, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the service with prior notice, except for emergencies or minor changes.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version applies when posted on the site. Continued use after that is acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Japanese law. The courts with jurisdiction over our principal office in Japan have exclusive first-instance jurisdiction.
