Frequently asked questions and troubleshooting tips for using DesignLayer.

Account and login

Q. Can I use the studio right after signup? A. For paid plans, studio and AI generation are available after payment completes.

Q. Can’t log in? A. Verify email and password, and ensure browser cookies are enabled. If issues persist, try again later.

AI generation

Q. How many generations per day? A. Once per account per day (resets at midnight Japan time).

Q. If generation fails, is the quota consumed? A. Quota is consumed when generation starts. If it fails, try again later.

Q. Results don’t match expectations? A. Edit text and colors in the studio, or revise the brief and regenerate the next day. For major changes, try regeneration with a reference image (resets manual edits).

Studio and editing

Q. Are edits auto-saved? A. Yes. Changes auto-save per project. ⌘S / Ctrl+S also saves explicitly with a name.

Q. What happens on regeneration? A. All manual edits (patches) are reset and replaced with new HTML.

Q. Can I check mobile display? A. Change preview width in the studio. We also recommend checking on real devices after export.

Export and launch

Q. Can I publish exported HTML as-is? A. Output is draft and starter code. Before launch, fact-check, add SEO meta, analytics, form integration, and accessibility.

Q. Who owns generated HTML? A. Rights follow the terms of service and applicable law. Use without infringing third-party rights.

Other

Q. Is it safe to enter confidential info in the brief? A. Input may be processed by external AI services (e.g. Google Gemini). Use your judgment for sensitive information.

Q. How do I contact support? A. Use the site contact form or the support address for your registered email.
